Overview
My Local Coffee is designed to help you discover independent coffee shops without requiring an account. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Information We Collect
The app does not collect user account IDs, device advertising IDs, or user-generated content. Onboarding completion is stored locally on your device.
Location Information
With your permission, precise Core Location data is used locally on your device for nearby discovery, distance calculations, map positioning, and filtering. Your precise coordinates are not sent to Supabase.
Backend and Service Providers
Supabase is used as a read-only backend for coffee shop data and images. Supabase may retain operational request metadata such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, request path, timestamp, user agent, and response information.
Data We Do Not Collect
The app does not require user accounts. Search terms are not sent to the backend, and no user-generated content is currently collected. Favorites are stored locally using SwiftData.
Tracking
My Local Coffee does not use advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.
Data Retention
Locally stored favorites and onboarding status remain on your device unless you remove them or delete the app. Service providers may retain operational request metadata according to their own retention practices.
Security
We use the platform and service-provider safeguards available to protect the limited information involved in operating the app. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children’s Privacy
My Local Coffee is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not require accounts or collect user-generated content.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
